The Pirate bay Down !!!

The Pirate bay is the worlds most popular pirating site you can get movies,music,games,software and more free. Of course this is a problem because that is breaking many laws. The owners of the Pirate bay are currently in jail the latest one was locked up just 2 month ago. Now the site has been down before and almost always comes back sooner or later. This time it may be different the Swedish police have raided a Stockholm confiscating servers,computers and other equipment. This happened once in 2006 a very similar problem and it came back. Some other sites associated with the pirate bay are down as well. New reports show that the Pirate bay is working on being resurrected at a new domain.

Amazons talking speaker the echo

This is a bluetooth speaker that talks and is connected to the cloud all the time. You can ask it whether, travel info, time, date and more. Since it is bluetooth you can connect your devices to the speaker. This can do anything that siri can do and this has been called siri in a speaker. This is US only currently and priced at 200$ or 100$ for Amazon prime members. Some people may buy this because it is said to be a nice wireless bluetooth speaker.

WiFi in your car !

Chevrolet is bringing us something we have never seen before. They will be putting built in WiFi into cars,trucks and crossovers. Now it will not be super fast but it will be a good speed. How do they do this well its 4G LTE they say up to 7 devices can connect and it is basically the ultimate WiFi hotspot people without internet could even take advantage of this and use it more than some other’s this is a very interesting topic and we will discus more as we get it. Also to mention will other companies follow and do the same we will find out soon.

Windows 10 is here and Windows 9 isn’t

Microsoft has decided to skip the number 9 and go straight to 10. So Windows 1o has been announced and it is different. Microsoft is trying to bring Windows 7 and Windows 8 together and make it one great operating system. They say Windows 10 will work on devices,tablets and PCs. Microsoft is going to talk more about the consumer experience later in 2015 spring and the operating system should be released to the public in later 2015. Some main things in discussion for windows 10 are that the start menu is back. A new feature is that you can open apps the same way as you open programs on the desktop. This will also run across Xbox mostly Xbox one I’m not exactly sure if the Xbox 360 will be effected. Microsoft is working on improving multitasking and you can have up to four apps open at once. I personally don’t think that’s very important but  some users really like it. Now all the details have not been shared there is still more to come in spring and there is not a final release date yet but I’m sure we will know soon. Great Xbox one deal

One of the best Microsoft Xbox one deals yet. The PS4 has been wining the console wars so Microsoft’s Xbox one needs something bug and they have it now. From September 7th through September 13th if you buy a brand new Xbox one (it can’t be refurbished) you will get any free Xbox one game you want. This includes big games such as the very popular soon coming destiny,Watchdogs,Titanfall and well any Xbox one game. The game and system have to be brand new. Microsoft has said sky’s the limit we don’t know exactly what this means. If you have already pre ordered a game you can not get that game free. This is an amazing deal and Microsoft is hoping some people will see this and it will push them to buying an Xbox One.

Well it turns out we use our twitter all the time and every time we post a tweet is sent out with a short link so they can view the post. This Week In Geek wrong channel

This week in geek was accidentally uploaded to my personal account. So don’t subscribe to that one only our main one. I don’t think i will move the video because it’s not that important but u of course can still watch it. This Week In Geek 2 will be redone next Tuesday on our normal channel.

Bose suwing Apple’s Beats Electronics

Apple as you might already know acquired Beats Electronics. Bose is now sewing them over 4 patents on noise cancelling technology. Bose is asking to ban Beats Studio and Beats Studio wireless. Bose  has filed federal patent infringement in the state of Delaware. I don’t know if you have noticed but Apple gets in Lawsuits allot usually with Samsung. This is a developing story we will give you more information as we get it on how much they want and more.

5.5 inch iPhone 6 possibly delayed !

there is rumored to be 2 iPhone 6. One being 4.7 inches and the other being 5.5 inches. Both where most likely coming in September because that is usually when a new iPhone is announced. Credible sources say that maybe only the 4.7 inch phone will be announced. They say the 5.5 inch iPhone 6 is not ready due to problems with the in-cell touch panel and the sapphire display not being sturdy enough. Now this is all rumors but very possibly true.
